Sounds like they’re coming at it from a good place. The minis look really nice.
So far really impressed, very simple to get into but tactical and with meaningful choices. I hope pace keeps up until there are 3-4 choices per slot for each faction. Plus a few Rogue one bits slip in.
Legion looks like a lot of fun. I am waiting to pick it up, until I see the level of support it will get.
I got suckered into playing Armada so I don’t have any left for legion.
Played my first game today with my son, we both had a great game and enjoyed it.

Played my copy today at a launch event with unpainted miniatures (a first for me but I had no other choice since the core only arrived on Friday).
At the launch event I believe the LGS sold more the day of the event as people were able to play then before the event.
With Han and Leia and commandos it is going to be awesome! So many more tactics and options coming. Love it so far and I am totally stuck in!

Oh that sounds good. I hope we see more factions in the game. As well as more characters like say Boba Fett or Darth Maul.

Nice to hear they are planning on developing it more and more, but i hope its not all just cash grabs. I hope this works well as a game with lots of options and variety. I want an excuse to own and paint some star wars models.
Alex has a lot to be proud of with this game, and amongst all the excitement around the game this weekend, he still seems its no. 1 fan.

This was fun to watch!
The desire to make movement as simple and uncomplicated as possible is a good one. I’m not a fan of having chunks cut out of a base to make it happen, but it seems like a reasonable trade off if the upside is as good as they say…
A friend of mine picked SWL in pur LGS. First game soon.
I have played it and I like it. It definitely will need more force choices. I hope that they can come up with more factions also. Not sure how well it will be with more than two players if that is tried. It does seem to take a little while to play but maybe that is due to the newness of it.
the setting is of course great, excellent setup to generate custom scenarios. I hope that they can flesh out the system with some more units and factions, but not too many. I think they have the chance to operate under 3-4 expansive factions and then may do sectorials like in Infinity.
Legion is incredible!
I’m very excited by Star Wars legion….although I’m not hugely into the mechanics! I will reserve judgement until I’ve played it… but I’m already considering a bolt action ‘Hack’

I am looking forward to this game. I have tto i say; X-Wing is amazing but I am getting sick of all the expansions. Micro transactions for table top games? IE you cannot buy a new card upgrade unless you pay …such and such dollars for a mini you dont want. Love the games, dont like the major consumerism plan we are now falling into because of Fantasy Flight Games business model. Correct me if I am wrong people.
