As expected, the crowd is loving legion and folks are anxiously awaiting their time at the demo tables. FFG has several beautifully themed tables ready to give gamers their first taste of the game.

A mate got his copy in today! It’s bloody gorgeous! The minis are loads better than I expected!
I’m picking up all my Legion stuff today. Painting day at local shop this weekend too. Something to quell the loss of going to Adepticon. Can’t wait!

SW Legion! I got my copy today. I can’t remember the last time I rushed home from the FLGS and started building right away.
The minis are no doubt gorgeous, and it’s tempting, but there’s so much else to be excited by. Definitely looking forward to the next wave of releases to flesh out the game a bit.
Ugg, everything looks so beautiful. I don’t know that my hobbying can support another Star Wars game, though.
I love the table. I will be picking up legions in the near future. I really wish I could be there this year.
I just got my copy, it is very nice indeed, great figures and it’s Star Wars.
But
– Only two factions, perhaps three in the future with mercenaries like x-wing, not nearly enough to keep things interesting for a long time
– Like X-wing seems to be aimed at casual players and organized gaming, not much space for storytelling as far as I see. Casual players have a steep “hobby” curve to climb, organized gaming can go well but it will miss the storytelling element for me.
– Building an army is like building a deck of magic, very little customization in terms of army visual, it can get boring quickly.
Still have to play it but one thing I already know I don’t like is the ridiculous range of the weapons.
In any case, it’s Star Wars and I am buying it just to be sure I have those great models, for the future, I guess we will see.

This is ever so great. Ice tables, desert tables, hangars and walkways, the more I see, the more I get excited.
Can´t wait to call this part of the “Triumvirate of SciFi-Awesomeness” my own. Get it all I must.
Still at work but the carrier website says my copy was delivered about 20min ago! Can’t wait to leave work and do some hobby tonight!

I got to play with the starter for the first time this week and the game is really nice. These tables look amazing too. I’m hoping to get some terrain that goes with mine. Right now it’s all Malifaux related.
Love the idea of the game just not something I feel like I have time for but glad this exists

Just got my Legion stuff, and it is so cool. Great pictures, the boards are cool, love the terrain. Gives me ideas for making some for my own game room.

Been playing at my FLGS all week and it’s very good, picked up the lot of it today.
Played a few games after my FLGS owner returned from GAMA, it’s great. I had some wariness before I tried it, but ended up going all in.

I’ve have no plans to pick up legion, for my checking accounts sake I hope that is still the case after a day in the vendor hall tomorrow!
Those last two tables in the pictures look identical to the ones they were demoing Legion on when I saw it last year (pre release).
I’m guessing FFG made more than a few of these demo tables to use all over the world.
I’m excited to get my hands on my copy!

I wouldn’t mind having some tables like that, especially the winter table.
I love Star Wars but IMO there needs to be more than 2 factions for a wargame. I might get some of the stormtrooper minis to practice painting white on though. And a Darth Vader to do a pink Vader…
Those boards might be small but they are pretty!

Would be great if they produced models with different uniforms for the environments like in the battlefront games.
BTW, that magma stream and facility board is inspired by the Sullust map I imagine.
