FireForge Games Send Out the Sergeants-at-Arms
November 13, 2013 by dracs
FireForge Games have released a new box of plastic Sergeants-at-Arms, all mounted up and ready for some medieval mayhem.
This new plastic kit allows you to make up twelve 28mm historical miniatures of the Sergeants-at-Arms. The models can be made up as several types of sergeants, with a number of weapon options and barded or unbarded horses. They can even be given crossbows if you fancy fielding a force of mounted archers.
Will you make use of these new cavalrymen in your games of tabletop warfare?

I really think this is a good deal, a good amount of well sculpted soldiers for a reasonable price.

What we have done is replacing the weapon section of the Mounted Sergeants set with the one you find in the infantry set “Foot Sergeants” as well as putting a mixture of barded and unbarded horses too into the box. In this way you can assemble Mounted Sergeants with different weapon options but above all, you can build Mounted Crossbowmen. It is more a “Service Pack” we have done for all our customers who… Read more »
Thanks for the info. They still seem to sell the old box as well, though, and the difference isn’t very clear from the product descriptions.
I agree that the product descriptions on their website are rather unclear. These guys seem somewhat unorganized and their release schedule is erratic at best but their actual product is very good.
