epaulettes is the word your looking for
thank you 😀 The word was totally lost to me
Dont worry. I couldnt remember the word tank once. Big metaly thing was the best I could manage
“lock” eluded me one night. I resorted to key-receiving device. Yes, drink had been taken.
I forgot my wife’s name once when introducing her to a crowd…..
I really like the way that the 50/50 tone/medium works. I have a big bottle of airbrush medium but I hadn’t thought of cutting the Dark Tone with it. It’s definitely on the list of techniques to use now.
I really appreciate the extra level of difficulty involved in working with a camera “stuck up in your chin” I’ve tried it while making tutorials and I couldn’t pull it off. Nicely done.
Looking good man 🙂
It will be quite the feeling of accomplishment once they are all finished.
Liking the red, adds a level of ‘dashing daring do’ to the cavalry. Will also make them stand out on the table top more and differentiate them from the rest of the army, which would fit the fluff you were describing yesterday.
Camera angle is excellent!
Good choice of colour on the saddle cloth.
Just one thought is should you put some straps joining the ammo pouches together at the back of the horse, as they are just floating there at the moment?
Camera angle is great, gives us an excellent view.
great paint work and everything is coming together well john.
camera angle is great.
colours are spot on. at a glance they look like historic minis then the chrome highlights the more syfy lances.
please paint one horse black(maybe the captains) would love to see how you create the satin black look
can’t wait to see what you do with the bases as well.
What you need is a mini drone hovering over the table so you can get different camera angles
Any idea how you are going to color the horses? Presumably, in the grimdark, they are cloning the horses, and you can choose whatever color scheme you want them you buy them, unless on Presonia (sp?) they are still made the old fashioned way.
Also, for all the world, it looks like John is smoking a pipe in the thumbnail on mobile.
angle is great John
