Fabled Realms: Campaign Map Update - How's It Going?

We take another look at the campaign map that the folks here at the Beta Weekend are going to be playing on. There seems to be a bit of back and forth going on for sure, exploring the shifting narrative in Fabled Realms.

Do you think you'll be doing a map campaign for Fabled Realms?

Can I ask do the Druggoi have a collective name or description ?
The Threat, The Terror, The Horde or anything like that ?

Looks like there need to be some “Hold the Line!” scenarios – Difficult win conditions for the 8 Fold Path and the State Guard, but big gains if they pull them off.

so you lose one game and therefore lose the territory you fighting over, if there are more players on one side, doesnt that give them an advantage over everyone else

Of course the Druggoi is winning everywhere. They will continue to do so until they meet the chosen one (me) – who will then utterly defeat them!

Maybe the other factions should team up against the Druggoi.

Ouch, not a good look for anyone who can feel (something other than hunger).

The Druggoi went out for lunch, and had their enemies for a snack.

I definitely believe playing map based campaigns are way better than the standard pick up and play single game. Playing with a map gives you a visual representation of what you are fighting over and allows more of a narrative to your games. This gives the games more purpose and more enjoyable especially when you snatch a last ditch victory from the jaws of defeat!

That would be sooooo neat. Build up a character for this event and have it turned into an NPC in the game. Love it.

Well I just had to say, you guys out did yourselves this weekend.
The game looks amazing. Love the models. The tables are insane.

I had to pull extra shifts this weekend so I am playing catch up on the blogs but
looks like much fun was had by all. As I am typing this I have been called in for yet another shift.
So I will end this by just saying thanks for all your efforts in bring us this chance to see
this game up close. Hopefully I can watch the rest of this tomorrow maybe.

Well, the harder the druggoi are to defeat, the bigger they will fall. 😀

It looks like the 3rd incursion is taking hold.
Good to see the state guard holding their lines.
