Tim Chubb - Shearing Goals For Cancer Research

Tim Chubb, one of the guys behind keeping the Beasts of War website up and running, is doing something different this weekend.

To raise money for Cancer Research UK, Tim is getting a hair cut. But not just any hair cut. He's setting himself some Shear Goals!

Tim I just wanted to say we need more guys like you, I was one of those guys who rolled that 5+. But thanks to you guys at Beast of War I was able to keep my Spirts up and Am now in remission. Please pass on my best wishes on to your dad and I will be thinking of him,

Firstly good on you mate for doing this, I tried to send you a donation but came unstuck when my two options were “I live in the UK” or “I am a UK taxpayer living overseas” I am neither of these things but I don’t get an option so I can continue with the donation … Am I missing something ?? Help??

@nakchak I do the Movember fundraising every November for cancer awareness and also volunteer in a charity shop who raise money for helping people with life-threatening/life-changing illnesses such as cancer after I lost a family member a couple of years ago. If I had anything I would be donating to this, but my thoughts are with you and hope you smash the targets and raise desperately needed cash. All the best mate and best of luck. 🙂

@nakchak I don’t know if your hair is long enough but you can also donate your hair to make wigs for people with cancer.

Cheers. I donated my hair a few years ago for cancer survivors. Somewhere, someone is walking around with more of my hair than me.
