Fabled Realms Beta Weekend - Friday
Fabled Realms Beta Weekend: Beta Set Unboxing
Justin sits down to unbox his Beta Set for the weekend, looking at the Fabled Realms Druggoi Coven.
We talk about each of the different models that come in the set and Justin get's ready for some games tomorrow. He has his sights set on Warren and a grudge match clash!
If 4ground came out with some MDF boxes for storing minis and components, I would be seriously tempted.
The carry box is so nice.
Great tokens, I hope we will have the same in starting box from the KS.
There’s a touch of class shown here that really is telling of just how much 4ground care about what they produce.
Agreed – a company that is truly dedicated to providing the best gaming experience.
The whole thing looks fantastic! Great idea adding the tokens, hope they will be in the KS packages too. Can’t wait for my KS pledges to arrive!
That box is really cool, such a nice extra touch for the attendees. I’m conpletely blown away by the size of that terror and 20 wounds!! He’s going to be so awesome to play around with on the tabletop. I do like th look of the druggoi but my love is defi itely with the state guard
4Ground showing what it means to a customer focused company; even just for a “show and tell” weekend. Bravo!
Also, I’ve seen a lot of talk about them using the 3D printed models (which look amazing) and am wondering if that will be the production choice when the game goes public.
So Many goodies!
Wow, what a great started kit for all the weekend beta testers! Looks gret 4 Ground
omg. Love it. I wants one! I love the extra attention to detail 4Ground have put into this.
Those figures look epic, wish I picked up one of those Terrors now. Didn’t realise how huge they would be. Well done 4ground on the sculpts 🙂
Well the box within the box was an awesome surprise!
Part wargame, part rpg, I like this, a bunch.
Holy cow! 4Ground went all out on this. The box, the tokens, the minis… everything. I am astounded.
Hopefully 4Ground would be able to produce the Kickstarter stuff as 3D prints. I didn’t really think of the benefit of not having mold lines, but that’s a massive bonus. And the details look really sharp.
And I’d be very happy to pay for a storage box like that. Add holes for magnets to the bases, a magnetic rubber sheet to the bottom of the box and voila, compact and effective storage solution.
The printed minis are really nice. The detail is good and I like the fact that there are no mould lines.
Great models 4Ground and a superb haul Justin.
Have fun painting and playing.
Has anyone seen my jaw? I think I heard it hit the floor…. amazing models
I did not back this. “Bugger”
I feel your pain…I have had to pull the plug on a gaming expenses for awhile now and was very disappointed not to be able to be a part of the kickstarter. Very happy it funded and has literally kicked things off as intended so now t’s possible for us to get into the Fabled Realms gaming universe in the future. 🙂
Wow, fantastic attention to detail. Fascinating to see the 3D prints and the really lovely tokens.
Nonsuch University, that made me chuckle 🙂 Love the Druggoi, that Terror is horrific in a really good way!
That is a fantastic box.
Its really good to see how the 3d prints turned out
looking forward to seeing the game and world evolve
Those boxes! Wow 4Ground, that is so cool! That’s just the kind of surprising touch that is becoming a trademark of the creative team at 4Ground and what makes them such a awesomely likeable and respected company. The detail on those minis are wonderful, really cool to see them just as they have come out of the 3D printer. The poses of the Stalkers Justin was showing on close cam were very cool, leaping over or poised on bits of terrain, very thematic. 🙂 The Terror is a nice model – and by nice I mean flipping awesome! The Dragouls… Read more »
The quality is amazing, those 3d printed miniatures are incredible……just when you thought you didnt need another game in your life……Damn you 4ground!!!
