Looking good but I think The knee joints look like they need internal structure at the break not just wire. Some broken or bent rod (trimmed spru pieces would work to) connecting the break together I think would give more of the collapsed under its own weight look
This is coming together really beautifully.
From a gaming point of view, is there a hole in the wall that leads from the central chamber of the AT-AT to the rear? I couldn’t see on the video. If not, I think it would be great to add as it would open up gaming possibilities of storming into the thing from different angles or maybe a heavy weapon hidden away in the central chamber and taking shots out the rear at passing enemies.
Am i the only one wondering if all of this vlog series main images on the home page and player splash screen were taken under duress? ;)….
I have a mental image of warren just out of shot , mincing about doing a buffalo bill impersonation saying “It smiles in the photo, unless it wants the hose”
This series smiles are genuine. Rumors of duress are unfounded in this series 😉
Have you shown a photo with some miniatures for scale? I know the Legion are larger scale than the Imperial assault ones.
Looks good, but the top area behind the neck needs filling to be smoothed out the lever from the toy is way too obvious.
its looking great love the work you have dun to the legs (feet) a clump of grass (folk) to hide any pins should work well. the walkways look even better close up in the video.
The work on the knees looks great. I think it’d look good if you did similar to the upper legs. It’s look heavier, more grounded if they were broken and touching the ground.
As far as ideas for the painting goes, I think it would look great with some work site graffiti.
Some markings where a supervisor had marked out some lines and arrows with “Cut Here” and a few places where some workers left their “opinions” of that supervisor.
That sort of activity really humanizes a scene.

Really like how this is turning out, mate. If I might offer some advice: – Have you thought of how the AT-AT was taken down? I am missing some kind of big hole in the side or a smashed cockpit or something. A clear mark of how it was downed offers a great narrative and little visual stories like these immediately transforms it from a cut-up AT-AT into a piece of terrain. – I would take 1 of the legs off at the knee joint and have it cut open as well. There’s all sorts of interesting stuff in the… Read more »
Another great table shaping up.
You’ve inspired me to make final choices on the table I’ll build for my “Legion” minis that are come next month.
