it’s looking well, the texture of the crows feet tread plate works well on the sole of the foot. The Mantic industrial terrain is excellent to work with so I’m looking forward to seeing how you use it.
It all looking great….it could always be a modified AT-AT….more cargo type. Although someone posted that they could carry AT-ST so you could have a partially disassembled one being pulled out of the back.
Interesting solution to the feet. Too bad the toy didn’t have the toe articulation. Still wondering about the handle for the head, though.
Good solution for the feet. Work really well.
I believe the foam looks good. Can’t wait to see what looks like painted and weathered. I figure those feet have a hard life given the wait they have to carry. I have seen the metal tracks of giant earth movers and they are look pretty beat up.
EVA foam as a terrain material. I’m looking for excuses to try this out now
John, while building a gaming table never let anyone get you hung up on making something “screen accurate”. There really is no need for that level of complexity. Unless your going for that level as in a diorama and gaming table combo. Get it close and then weather it up and it’ll be great for the players that will use it.
Liking what you`ve done with the feet John, i was wondering how you where going to do it. Have to catch up and see what you do with the wire`s and pipe`s.
