Battle Systems Show Off A Fantastical Future
November 4, 2013 by brennon
Battle Systems are still doing incredibly well right now and they have pushed up through the £50,000 mark with their Kickstarter. With that they have been showing off some of the other terrain they have in the pipeline for the worlds of fantasy.
I've seen some of their fantasy terrain in the flesh and it's just as good looking as their sci-fi terrain they are showing off right now. I love the look and they really can create some fantastic little narrative sequences with their components.
I do have a soft spot for that awesome looking set of treasure chests and the mighty Dwarven tomb. However, they are still concentrating on sci-fi for now and here is what you can add to your pledge.
This allows you to add in some more floor tiles to create more space, as well as more struts and chairs to make it all more lived in. The massive Turbine is going to be unlocked at £62,000 so keep an eye out for that.
What do you think of their terrain?

Very reminiscent of World Works Games Terraclips, which my group has been using lots for Iron Kingdoms rpg recently, plus as general wargame terrain. The real trick will be getting the pricing right when this stuff is released on general sale.
I wasn’t a fan of paper terrain until terra clips and DZC stuff, I think they are doing some awesome looking stuff, but would like to see a Wild West version as there is already a lot of Sci-fi and fantasy stuff out atm, especially with the Terraclips range.
