Winter Trolls Get Smashin’ & Bashin’ For Privateer’s Hordes

Privateer Press have managed to squeeze in some additional festive models to the Hordes world before Christmas with three new Trollblood models.
It's no secret that I do love me some Trollbloods. They are packed with character and always look awesome on the tabletop with their vibrant skin tones and bold metallic weapons/armour. These models are no different with the Troll Basher above followed by the Ice Troll with their own take on a javelin...
...and the Winter Troll to finish things off for this trio of awesomeness.
The Basher will act as a good frontline beast to throw into the fighting in a themed force whilst the Ice Troll backs him up from mid-range. You then have the Winter Troll with two open hands who can start grappling and throwing his opponents around like rag dolls.

I have no idea why I haven’t started a Trollblood force, I love all the minis, and these are no exception. They would be so much fun to paint. 🙂

Trolls were finding it tough going for the last year or two. Its good to see them making a bit of a come back. these models are great.

Yes!! Very much wanting to build a themed force for next year. Im looking a few different ranges and companies to build a winter themed force, led by none other than Krampus. Ive been massively inspired this year by the christmas battle report, it was the same last year but i already had too many projects, this year ive definitely got scope!
Really liking the Northkin theme and models, noticed the beast have white beards, unlike the warmer southern Trolls who are more clean-shaven, although have lumpy bits instead. Part way through painting another Trollblood army which includes the additional Northkin releases just come out, I will be getting 2 or 3 Bashers, and at least one of each of the others, most likely just one of the Winter Trolls though as I already have a couple of painted Winter trolls of the old sculpt. Love them, the whole theme force looks great. Might explore the idea of collecting themes rather than factions, as a good range of faction options is becoming a really big pool of minis.
Better than the last Winter Troll. Love the Basher and icicle troll too, some very nice stuff.
