The Um’Rak Tribe Shows A Toothy Grin For CMON’s HATE
December 19, 2017 by brennon
CMON have previewed another of the tribes for the world of HATE and the upcoming board game. Take a look at the snarling looks of the Um'Rak.
These warriors look a lot less armour and more focused on the ferocity of the peoples that dwell within the world of HATE. Each of them appears to have torn away their lips to make their faces into skeletal visages.
A lot of their weapons seem to be very different as well. I like the tweak in weapons to build upon the look of the armour, offering up a point of difference immediately when you look down at the tabletop.
There is something of the Mad Max about them as well I would say. It's going to be very interesting working on the pale skin of these warriors and the dark armour that they wear as a contrast.
No doubt we will see a lot more of the various tribes over the coming days, but this particular one has a dose of the creepy about it. If you're looking for a proper grimdark Fantasy world this would be it I think.
What do you make of the Um'Rak Tribe?

Cannot wait for this!
They look like the Persian aboniations from 300
fabulous looking figures.
With their showing teeth they´re looking ferocious and very impressive. If the game is as good as the minis, we have something to look forward to. For some variety any of this warriors could also serve as a leader of some chaos barbarians.
If the scale matches up at all these guys are perfect Lost and the Damned for a World Eaters army.
