New artwork has been previewed by GCT Studios for the future releases in Bushido. We're getting some really interesting characters coming to life this time around starting out with the Tengu (...bird people!) Hirobo.

Hirobo - The Decension

"Hirobo is an unquestioned leader amongst the Tengu. Striking an equal mixture of loyalty and fear into those he fights alongside. He is able to change the ebb and flow of a battle by channelling Fujin’s will, opponents rapidly find themselves outmanoeuvred on all fronts by his actions. He dominates enemies, his attacks enfeebling their minds whilst he readies to take advantage and mark them for death."

Despite me not really liking the idea of Tengu I think that the model for this is going to turn out really nicely. You should be getting some awesome opportunities to paint those features and get some vibrant colours into the mix.

Next up we have someone a little more down-to-earth and probably a bit sneakier too with Fai-Ginn of the Silvermoon Trade Syndicate.

Fai-Ginn - Silvermoon Trade Syndicate

"Undoubtedly mean-spirited and devoid of any form of warmth, Fai-Ginn has found himself as the primary carer for over half of the Silvermoon's street urchins. For all of the hatred and enmity felt towards him from his young charges he has avoided a dagger in the back, during the darkest hours of the night, for so long because he does have some value to those he leaches from. His knowledge of what he calls the ‘subtle arts’ are second to none. "

Anyone who has played Resident Evil 4 will immediately be thinking of the Merchant upon seeing this fellow. I love the idea that we might get a model that looks like he's more at ease than right in the thick of the fighting, preferring to avoid conflict and instead get other people to do his dirty work.

Last but not least we have this impressive beast.

Karapan - Shadow Wind Clan

"Cultivated for generations, the Karapan are the ultimate beast of burden for the Kage Kaze Zoku. Many Worms are sacrificed in the long and arduous training program of each Karapan. The stalking, stealth of a panther combined with the vicious mobility of the crow leaves no prey safe. For those it hunts there can be no protection. For those that seek to obscure their intentions from the Grand Master, there can be no hiding place."

Who wouldn't want a Karapan as a pet right? I think this is going to be another awesome piece and hopefully, we get a few of them in different poses with some stalking and others rearing up to fight.

Are you a big Bushido player?
