Zenit Give A Quick Update On Their Yokai Quest Minis

Zenit announced in an update on their Yokai Quest Kickstarter that production of their minis' prototypes is underway and have presented some of the renders to show how things are progressing.

The Yokai Quest models capture the classic depictions of famous yokai, such as oni, and update them well to fit with the fun, chibi style of the game.

For some of the models, Zenit have had to make some slight adjustments due to fabrication requirements.

Of these, my favourite has to be the Yurei (square faced ghost figure). Yurei are the typical, revenge-focused ghosts we all know from Japanese horror films. They are incredibly creepy, and while this model is still cartoonish, it maintains that unsettling element.
