First
Mate if you are going to tag first , you have to gloat more than that. rub our noses in it , exalt in your superiority…. LIVE THE MOMENT!!! (So young man next time I expect a bit more than some tame “first: ) 😉 😀
I was so shocked that was all I could think. 😛
😛
We understand. Stage fright can affect us all at times
Should a video be loading here?
Mate it os playing for me (I am at the 23 min mark at the moment … one weekend I may actually get to watch the whole thing through in one sitting …..nah … never going to happen)
Ahh, had to reload the page a few times, but it loaded. We just finished watching it. My favorite bit was where John shows up.
Thanks Lance for making this. In some ways this encapsulates what is the best of the Beasts of War. Every person you have working for you is quality, both in skill set and more importantly, as an individual. I thoroughly enjoyed the awards, this segment and this year. As one bloke (and I’m sorry mate, I forgot your name and you deserve credit) this is the best community on the internet and I appreciate the opportunity to share it all with you on a regular basis.
Well done lads and once again, and from the heart, thanks.
Happy Sunday… An interesting behind the scenes show, and very well done to the guys at BoW for a splendid awards show on Friday night. It gets better every year 🙂
@lancorz that was awesome
@lloyds first appearance cracked me up was like something out of the office
Wonder if we will get a behind the beast for games expo?…. As you know its not like its manic enough already 😛
Shows nicely how much work actually goes into all this.
Respect and gratitude to all of you guys 😎
A great video, thanks!
We all know that putting a video out is more than just pointing a camera at people and uploading the results, but I think seeing just how much effort and time goes into something like the award show really highlights just how much goes into the videos we love.
A big thanks from me to the whole team, even those who don’t like being on camera, for the effort they put into creating stuff I love to watch. Its always appreciated.
A special thanks must go to John of course, without whom none of this would be possible.
Thanks Lance and the rest of the gang for making this while you already had a busy schedule preparing for the show.
Wow. Mind blown. What an effort!
That was really impressive. Johns bit at the end made me chuckle.
You guys never get anything other than my total and utter respect ( and mountains of jealousy for working in the midst of all that hobby 😉 ).This was great 😀 .
Awesome getting a look behind the scenes and really enjoyed the way this was put together.
So John, what do you do here. (Shrugs shoulders) I just turn up, then exits stage left…………….Best part of the whole documentary, had me in stitches………Nice one Mr Lyons.
Nice to see how things come together, i never know how much work you guy`s put in. Think i`ll stick to driving my FLT, it`s a lot easier.
John has the best role in the whole awards show!
@Lancorz I want to film documentaries with you! Looks like you had a blast with this!
I liked the blue tint to some of the footage. gives a real feel of the UK. Sons of Anarchy used the same technique. Turn it all blue, looks as cold as a witch’s tit.
Really enjoyed the awards night and really enjoyed this too.
Forgot to mention, it was great seeing the team during the talking head sections, Warren being chilled out is remarkable! I was waiting for some kind of crude joke to slip in there (geddit?) but no! He kept it together!
Ok that was a really insightful and fun look in to how much work you put into the awards! So glad it produced such a great show on Friday night. Thanks for producing it, them, both!
This was awesome @lancorz !! so nice to see your side project again, not just funny noizes when loyd plays with icesticles (this is how you spell it?)

Great job guys. Always good to get a sneak peak behind the curtains.
I enjoyed that, always like watching a documentary, probably because that’s what specilsed in whilst at film school. Well done Lance, need to see more short documentaries on Beasts.
Thanks for the behind the scenes look , I never knew how much work went in to one of these things . So enjoy the rest of your weekend guys and then come Monday , start planning next years do , we’re counting on you to top this this years show
Fun watching behind the scenes stuff – having worked in live TV before, I can appreciate how much prep work goes into something like this. Great job. Also, I it’s nice to see slightly more serious / thoughtful @warzan 😀
One of those documentaries that seems to be about one thing but at the very end the curtain is removed and you find out it was a deep analysis of John’s mindset in regards to reward shows.
Honestly quite enjoyable, you have an idea of the scope of work by watching the show but this really illuminates it. Well done.
Well done gents, but the documentary makes it look like two days work! 😛
John’s interview is the best! thanks for this peek behind the curtain. 🙂
John is the man, complete dude ! ” I show up”
