Games Workshop has given folks a look ahead to what they can pick up over the next couple of weeks going into December and heading towards Christmas. We'll start off with what's new for Age Of Sigmar, namely a new variant of the Lord-Celestant.

Lord-Celestant With Shield

The Lord-Celestant now gets himself a shield and a bare head for when you want your commander to show his face. I'm not entirely convinced by the facial details here, I think he looks particularly 'blocky' and maybe a bit too macho. It could also be the painting which is throwing it off a tad perhaps?

Either way, it's nice to have new commander options for your games and hopefully they start to explore this with other armies too. Alternative leaders for the Ironjawz and such would be ace.

Angels Of Death

Next up we have some Angels of Death and alternative Lieutenant models for both the Blood Angels...

...and the Dark Angels in Warhammer 40,000. I think that both of them are very much in keeping with the character of their forces, especially this sly looking Dark Angel.

You just know there's a secret or two he's keeping from his fellow Space Marines. It's nice seeing them in the larger Primaris Space Marine armour as well so we've got more character choice going forward.

Easy Build Kits

In addition to those characters, Games Workshop is also making two new Easy Build Kits. The first of them is their Aggressor Kit which comes with some of their heavily armed and armoured Primaris Space Marines.

Aggressors Easy Build

This could be handy for someone looking to bulk out a squad of Space Marines with a few extra models, rather than splurging for an entirely new set. I always use these kits as testing grounds for paint schemes and whether or not I'm going to like painting an army.

You will also be able to pick up their twelve-part Redemptor Dreadnought Easy Build kit which is kinda awesome.

Obviously, this kit will be limited in the posing options and weapons you can choose but if you just want to throw another Dreadnought into the mix and you don't mind about that then this is another good avenue to explore.

Death Guard

The Death Guard are also back in force with some new options to help expand your force. Leading the way we have this strange daemonic contraption, the Myphitic Blight-hauler.

Myphitic Blight-hauler

I'm not entirely sure what to make of it as a creation but it certainly looks like something you'd want to start adding some extra firepower down onto the table. I like the mix of the organic and the synthetic about it and it could be a lot of fun to paint up.

New Blightlord Terminators are also coming to join the fighting as well armed with their oozing and sickening weapons that would no doubt kill you soon after even if the first strike didn't.

There's also a new Lord of Contagion wielding a manreaper scythe so if you wanted to get one of those into your army now is your chance. Once again, I'm not overawed by the facial details of the character and I think a helmet or headswap might be in order.

One Man Army

Finally, and decidedly the coolest of these announcements is that we're going to be seeing Sly Marbo return (or as the internet said, he wasn't gone, he was simply waiting to strike).

Sly Marbo

Rules for him will be coming out soon and you'll be able to drop him into your Astra Militarum army as a special character, ready to bring death and destruction to anything he faces off against. I think they've nailed this sculpt and I can imagine a fair few dioramas springing up around him.

If I had the skills I'd do a 'Cool Guys Don't Look At Explosions' vignette where there's an exploding Ork vehicle behind him and Ork bodies everywhere. Maybe even a bit of backlighting as the explosion washes over him. Ah the dreams I'll never fulfil.

What do you make of these new offerings?
