Meet The Uthuk Infantry Command For FFG’s RuneWars

Fantasy Flight Games has given us a preview over the last few days for the Uthuk Y'llan Infantry Command which will be coming to the game of RuneWars soon.

The set comes with four models which can be added to your regular infantry units to give them an assortment of different buffs and other abilities. For example the Bloodfire Witch here...

...is able to twist magic and energy around her little finger as she hurts herself, opening up the possibility to recast an energy token with inactive unstable runes. The unstable runes and energy are what the Uthuk Y'llan thrive off so it's key to have her dropped into a unit or two.

We also have the Mutilated Grotesque who comes at things from a very different angle which involves turning you into a fine paste.

Not only can they exhaust their upgrade card to make you draw another morale card during this step in gameplay, but they also force you inherently to do so simply by being on the front lines.
