Check Out Warlord Games’ Waffen-SS Camo Tutorial – What Do You Do?
November 11, 2017 by brennon
Warlord Games have shown off their own tutorial for creating the Waffen-SS Camo Pattern that we've been seeing John try his had at Backstage this week.
If you haven't checked out John's tutorial on building up the Waffen-SS Army for Bolt Action then make sure to take a look HERE. However, if you want some alternative thoughts on painting the camo you can find a full run through of the tutorial here on the Warlord Games Blog.
It's looking rather fantastic and certainly matches the historical look of these soldiers.
Things are going to take a while when it comes to this technique but hopefully, we've been able to focus in on some cool ideas for you to play around with by pointing you towards this blog and our very own work by John.
What technique do you use?

This guide is fantastic!
But a friendy caveat..it’s been done by my Swedish pal Peter Motas who has reached a level of insanity that allows him to paint smaller dots than anybody else in this Galaxy 😉
However, the pea dot pattern is second to none and looks more original than the actual originals! Top drawer stuff 😎
Wow , the figure looks awesome . But I think Joh’s style is more suitable for gaming . This style is more figure competition grade IMO . But we all have our own vision of what we think looks good , down to who’s version of OD or Dunkel Gelb we use for our tanks . The more tutorials and how to’s we get the better painters we will become …
it look fabulous when finished.
Thanks for sharing my guide guys! Appreciate it!
