Dark Age Dragyri & Brood Stride Forth For October
October 17, 2017 by brennon
Dark Age welcomes a whole host of new releases across the month of October with a collection of new packs for the Dragyri Shadow Caste as well as the first appearance of The Brood on the tabletop as well in their new guise.
The Shadow Caste is continually a great beacon for the world of Dark Age. The sculpts for their force are fantastic and summon up a great view of the world that you can latch onto. They provide an alien feel to the world and this post-apocalyptic landscape, giving you an insight into the themes of the game.
You also get a nice mix of various styles and stances with the Dragyri. Like for example here we have the lithe looking Keeper and then the heavily armoured Strega too.
The rest of their line-up is equally important to take into account and it would be brilliant to see what people do with the painting of these models for themselves. For example, I'd love to see someone take a blue scheme and mix it in with some misty greys.
Looking ahead I can see the Dragyri Shadow Caste becoming a fan favourite and the Dragyri as a whole. The look of their faction is striking and inviting to painters, hobbyists and gamers as a whole.
The Brood
Talking of fan favourites, I would hazard a guess that The Brood might well be hot on the heels of the Dragyri. Here we have the Faction Starter for the Brood giving you a look at these warped and strange individuals.
Featuring a range of newly sculpted models this set gives you a great starting point for beginning a Brood force on the tabletop.

Those are stunning.
I love the ogre thingy.
Hmm. I was a fan of the Brood, not very impressed with these. Of course I’ll wait for the big gribblies, or the Core. Don’t let me down, Game I’d Like to Get Into!
