Forge World’s Death Korp Of Krieg Infantry March Together
October 7, 2017 by brennon
If you like the idea of throwing an alternative Regiment into the mix for your games of Warhammer 40,000+775423, then check out the Death Korp Of Krieg from Forge World.
This set gives you a set of Infantry who are stood casually taking in a little bit of a break before the battle heats up. They might not be great for a battlefield role but they certainly look good in a diorama context.
It's nice to see Forge World exploring more of these alternative regiments from the world of Warhammer 40,000 as it's good to have a bit of a mix out there. Not everyone wants to keep seeing Catachans and Cadians on the tabletop.
You can actually look behind the infantry as well and explore some of the other packs they have to offer HERE as they show off some artillery pieces and a command option too. If you want to get a good solid backbone for your force on the tabletop this might work out well.
The pseudo-World War I appearance of their soldiers will be great for painters who like distressing and playing around with effects paints.
What do you make of the Death Korps?

Talk about being late late to the party Brenno .
Actually nice to see that their back in stock so thx for the alert .
Those do look rather good but still no female sculpts.
They’re not new. They’ve just been out of production for a while. I wouldn’t expect to see any DK females any time soon because Forge World’s development cy seem to be much longer. Maybe the plastic citadel ranges will get some but unlikely from FW
They are actually all female sculpts. You just cant tell because of the gas masks and the fact they haven’t used boob plate.
They still look nice. But I will raise my Steel Legion when the call to arms is made.
The figures themselves aren’t bad, but sooo static. The set should come with a ‘bus stop’ sign.
Do they let their studio painter drink at his desk?
Its not the painter its the sculptor that made them look like that. The painters tried their best to make them look cool waiting for that bus.
That particular squad is called “Death Korps of Krieg Squad At Ease”. Other squads are available in more action packed poses.
Lovely mini’s ( as you’d expect from FW ), but the wallet cries each time i glance their way 🙁 . I’ll be visiting Victoria Miniatures for my DKoK alternatives.
Great choice. Using Victoria for my Traveler naval characters. Very versatile.
great imperial troops.
