Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire Pre-Orders Go Live October 14th

Pre-Orders for Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire go live on October 4th from Games Workshop where you'll be able to pick up the main boxed game featuring the Stormcast Eternals and Khorne Bloodbound as well as the new expansion sets...
You can take a look at the main website for the game right HERE which gives you some more information on the game, the setting and goes in-depth about each of the different factions.
Talking of the different factions, two expansion sets will also be available for Ironskull's Boyz...
...and the Sepulchral Guard which has got to be one of the coolest looking sets of miniatures. The new undead are looking fantastic and will certainly open up some interesting painting options.
The game is certainly an interesting one and provides a new way to get into the world of Age Of Sigmar. I like the premise and from what I've seen of the mechanics it seems simple enough to play with some tactical edge to it.
Make sure to let us know below what you think of the game from what you've seen online and if you're interested in it.

I don’t really care about the game, but will pick me up those sweet skeletons, been waiting since they were presented months ago! And who knows, maybe I like the idea of how it plays
@Kamaron – the skeletons are ace looking.
I’m thinking an Undead Saga Warband, and they are the start *wink wink*
PS: have seen a gameplay video, it looks sweet. If the prize is right, I might get the basic box too.
Does anyone know if all the assembled contents (as the minis are single pose) fit back in the core box?
Similarly, is there then a way to safely transport an expansion team in their box?
BOLs has an unboxing, The box looks big enough to put the Ork minis back in. There is a plastic tray too. Not sure that the skeletons will fit, just because there are 7.
They arent assembled here are St Duncan of Rhodes (Patron Saint of Thin coats) ‘s own assembly videos.

Surprised that the Oruks and Undead don’t get new gaming mat/grids…. thought they would expand those … but I guess you’ll need a copy of starter set to add to it… still looks like a fun little game and good intro game!
Any prices revealed yet?
If each expansion set adds 60 cards doesn’t this risk getting a bit unmanageable?
And now GW has learned from FFG….in a bad way….you have to buy the minis when you want the cards for your gang??? Really?!?! Pass!
You can always sell the minis on eBay and I’m sure there will be others selling the cards.
Doesn´t make it better in any way.
It’s a business model that works.
Only wenn enough make it work!
Simply selling anything only works “when enough make it work”. Businesses only work if they’re supplying a demand. X-Wing has kind of proven that, as a business model, it does work and that if the game is right, the demand for new meta will be there.
I still don’t like those overly armored orcs but I those skeletons are great.
Was going to buy this as we play a lot of 4-player games, unfortunately each player has to have a board meaning you have to buy two sets and therefore duplicate models are now wasted as we would all have had our own faction. Really could do with a starter set with the other gangs, so I’m now out.
Photocopy the boards then glue them to card. Sorted.
How is that different to XWing? If you want to play you still have to buy the starter set to get the rules, tokens, templates, dice etc.
Well you can always use more x-wings/Ties, but if you want to play a game like this buying the starter is not unreasonable.
Of course @hithero you could always grab company of iron rules for free, with pribt of demand cards.
Unless you want to play Scum and Villainy of course. Or, if you only want to collect Imperials you have an X-Wing going spare
Don’t need to by two starters to play with 4players though, which is my gripe.
Well it seems that it’s primarily been designed as a two player game.
And the community website for the game says that players bring “any game board from their collection”. Assuming that they don’t mean monopoly and scrabble, I think we can assume that additional game boards will purchasable in the future. So on release day, yeah maybe you need two sets for 4 players but eventually you won’t. However I suspect that there’s going to be cards in the starter box that won’t be available in any other set and that people are going to want them regardless of the faction they choose to play
@beastsofwar – Thank you for providing the pre-order date. I had been wondering about it for some time. Now if we could only get the MSRP for the game? I am reading conflicting amounts for what the price of each box set will be. Thanks.

very interesting, but isn’t the pre order going live on 14/10?
Now I get it, my bad. The Sepulchral Guard and Ironskull’s Boyz will be available to pre-order on October the 28th with a release on the 4th of November.
Thought of a way round the board issue, I have a ton of hex terrain tiles from Heroscape laying around somewhere .
@onlyonepinman – Thank You!!!!
