Inquisitor Greyfax Makes Her Black Library Debut In Eye Of Night
September 21, 2017 by dracs
Black Library have released a new audio drama bringing us the Black Library debut of one of the most important figures from Guilliman's return; Inquisitor Greyfax.
Tasked by the primarch to seek out an ancient artifact called the Eye of Night, Greyfax must journey into the Eye of Terror along with a company of incorruptible Grey Knights to contest the seer advisor to Abaddon himself, Moriana.
Inquisitor Greyfax is a character I have been intrigued by ever since she showed up during the last big 40k event. The Black Library audio dramas tend to be entertaining, I am interested to see how she transfers over to this medium.
Do you plan on giving this one a listen?

It’s rather nice that Greyfax gets to star in her own story even if she has to share it with Grey Knights.
She was an odd charcter in the series of game book releases, despite having a fantastic model. In fact, several of the Imperial characters were pretty odd in that they didn’t actually contribute much to the story. Greyfax did virtually nothing. (I mean, she fought, but didn’t do anything that another warrior couldn’t have done – story-wise.)
The Grey Knight guy didn’t really do anything either. Again, very nice model, but I did wonder why they used a third of each triumvirate on characters that were actually pretty marginal.
Maybe that is the point of this? To make her more relevant to the setting moving forward
