We continue our faction chats from the world of Wolsung as we take a look at The Inventors and find out what makes them tick like clockwork.
They have some fascinating characters in their midst as well as some wild inventions too.
I certain that the Inventors will be one of my two player starter set factions. Which would be a good counter-faction to go with them?
The magic of the Triad might be a good counter to the science of the Inventors.
I find the Inventors the most intriguing of the teams and the one I would choose as a starter team. I have been following Wolsung for quite a while, and maybe now is the time to jump on the band waggon.

Not too sure about the Inventors. But I really like the Golem figures.

I love my Inventors, they are so fun to play!
My favourite so far I think.
That would be my second choice for a faction.
Wish you would have been able to show the studio painted figures as well as the associated cards that come with the figures.
Also, it is unclear to me if the starter sets come with everything — points wise — to play fully or if you need additional troops to get to a certain point value.
Of the two factions for the boot camp I would have picked this one.
I bet these guys have access to some really unique models.

I was also thinking about mixing Inventors with some other faction, if you’re allowed to do that.
Probably my favorite faction, though the Ash & Oak look like fun, too!
The more that I watch the more that I like this game. This looks to be a really fun faction.
They sound like fun . . . but I’m waiting for the Triad piece to drop.
At the moment I think my two favourite factions are this one and the Scylla.
The inventors are definitely one of the factions I want. Really like the models.

The lab mice on that one golem sell this faction for me. One of them is clearly a genius.
Hmm, I like them better then the Ash and Oak…we’ll see if I’d pick them.

Not really grabbing me as a faction from the sounds of the play style, but I do like the look of the golems.
