It's time to get stuck into another dose of awesome Community Spotlight goodness with a look at what you've been doing in the Hobby & Painting Forum.

So, let's get stuck in and see what's what kicking off with a wonderful piece by gorrilawithabrush!

Confrontation Wolfen Prowler by gorillawithabrush

We're kicking off with some amazing work as mentioned above on this Wolfen Prowler from the Rackham range. This truly is a wonderful looking miniature with a fantastic paint job which has bought the pose to life.

As if the work on the model wasn't good enough, gorillawithabrush also did some amazing work on the banner which was all done by freehand. Yep, he's that insane.

Some of the things that really impressed me personally (BoW Ben) was the work on the sword to give it that nice sheen, and the subtle pattern work that was done to the cloak and robes.

Doctor Who Time Lords by curis

Next up we're turning our attention to Sci-Fi and the work by curis and these Time Lords from the world of Doctor Who. Leading the way we have this chap, Omega.

There has been a real effort to show off what you can when it comes to painting a model with what is essentially one colour. The subtle use of highlighting and shading has meant that the model really stands out rather than just looking like you popped it out of a toy set.

Mix that with some great photograph and background terrain to help bring these models to life and you've got a project worth keeping an eye on.

The bases are really key here and something we talk about quite a lot. If you've got a base that frames and presents the model nicely then it makes all the difference.

The more imposing base, as mentioned by curis himself, helps to give the model of Omega a bit more gravitas here, even if he isn't the smartest tool in the box.

Infinity Squads by bucketknight

Next up we're turning our attention to some Infinity models from bucketknight. This provides us with some more grungy and realistic looking soldiers from this Sci-Fi world.

What we particularly liked about these, and indeed the image above, in particular, is the cross between very down to earth colours and a more striking red and white scheme for their technology. It might not be great for camouflage but it makes for a very cool paint scheme.

You can see more of this nice contrast in the models below to where you have the lighter hair matched against the combat fatigues.

We really like the dirtier and more realistic look on the models which, again, is a nice contrast to what you're used to seeing with Infinity. It provides a very nice contrast which is no less technical by any stretch of the imagination.

Fallout Residential Trailer by richbuilds

Last but not least we have a terrain project from richbuilds who has been tinkering away on this awesome Residential Trailer which can be used in games of the post-apocalypse and of course Fallout.

The trailer looks great when shown here in some natural light giving it the impression of a building which has been through the wars and back.

The smashed up look has come off perfectly with the shattered windows and the down and dirty scheme across the whole model. There's even some wonderful attention to detail in the joins between the different sides of the trailer where it looks like it has torn away and been broken down by time.

It might not be the biggest terrain project, but it's certainly impressive all the same.
