Blogging At This Event:
Scylla Models' Tabletop Champions
Here's a range of nice white metal figures for use in RPGS and other table top games.

You are stranded on an island, and have to escape before the crabs get you!
Collect useful items, rations and gather material to build yourself a raft to escape the island. To complicate things, your opponent will be sending a horde of crabs to try and stop you, can you deal with these armoured crustaceans and send your own army of pincer armed critters to slow your rival?
Build a raft and cast of from the island to win.
Zero Gravity
Fantasy Football move over, a new sport has arrived. Played in Zero Gravity, explosions, shooting, smackdown, explosions! Can you battle your way to the Gate to plant the bomb? Can you massacre your opponent? Can you capture a flag and bring it to your starting zone? Will you be the first to claim an achievement? Score cheers if you manage these actions, collect enough cheers first to win the game! All in a game that brings you a whole new dimension.
Cheese Quest
You have found yourself a little slice of mouse heaven. A warm place to live and plenty of cheese are yours for the taking, if you can avoid the various traps to beat the other mice to it! Can you avoid the cats the other mice are sending after you, send the cats after them instead and get 2 pieces of cheese home to claim the prize?
Conspiracy Theory
There is a theory going around in the usual tin-foil hat wearing community, that Steve Jackson Games is at it again, and are releasing a new card game. In this supposed game, players allegedly attempt to use their cards to create a conspiracy worthy of notice from the round referee. It is speculated that 3-10 conspirators can join in the playing of this imagined game, the existence of which is to be verified.
Plank and Rank
You are invading a neighbouring land, but have come across a river that has stalled your advances. It is a problem, so what do you do? You build a bridge and get over it!
Plank by plank, rank by rank, it is your job to get that bridge built so your army can cross the river without getting their delicate little tootsies wet. Battling the elements, wildlife and your opponents saboteurs, can you get your bridge built and your army across the river before your opponent gets theirs done and invades you instead? Plank by plank, rank by rank, move your army across the river, but each plank has to be the same length or shorter than the one before it.
Chronicles
Indigar is at war. Following the Night of the Cataclysm, in which the Spirit, a crystalline drug which had been distilled from the Well for many years, distilled from magic and bestowing powerful abilities upon its users, collected its toll. The destruction of the capital city of the Republic, Konagara, has left the lands bereft of a leader, and the corruption of the Spirit Drug has infused the people of the lands, sparking distrust and ill feeling amongst them. Demons stalk the land and war looms heavy upon the horizon.
Arkland is the seat of a powerful King, backed by 9 barons, which built its might upon the strength of its navy. Its powerful and professional armies are gathering to march out and take the lands under its control. All is not well as a powerful force known as the Light of Arkland has grown into a religious sect, with paladins and warrior priests to enforce their will. A civil war is brewing between the Light and the old Nobility.
To make Arkland's woes even greater, the Forest Tribes are gathering, taking advantage of the confusion to wreak vengeance for years of wrongs and ill treatment. Although generally peaceful and keeping to themselves, this gathering bodes ill for the surrounding nations as they are numerous and strong.
And from the desert, the Ramal, once desert nomads scattered through the lands of sand, are moving. Driven by a desire for an easier life, viewing the water rich lands of their neighbours with envious greed, they have harnessed the power of Blood magic and grow stronger since the release of magic on the night of the Cataclysm.
Which faction will you lead to victory in Chronicles?

Something for everyone in this great little foray into the world of 3D design. Oh, and a Treeman for a stretch goal.

Legend of Korra :

It was to be expected that someone would create a game out of the settings ‘sport’.
No stretch goals, which keeps this nice and simple.
Still surprised that Chronicles has not appeared in your Kickstarter watched projects. It is a tabletop miniatures fantasy game with some neat mechanics.
It has to be said again – he does this on his own time. If there’s another kickstarter that hasn’t appeared in his list that you wish other people were aware of, I’d recommend reaching out to him in PMs, perhaps with a write up and all of the links already done.
Thanks for doing this @fishman . Glad to say nothing particularly catches my eye yet – which makes a pleasant change!
I don’t know how you stay on top of it all though. There seems to be so much going on!
@longshotte – I do not have time for every game at the moment. So, sorry if something you think should appear is a little slow, I do have other things to occupy my time. It is up now, hope it does well.
@angelicdespot I will keep looking for something to catch your eye, and your money… thanks for the support.
@limburger Thanks, will try my hand at word bending on it soon…
no problem, we can’t expect you to be omnipotent 🙂
As can be seen from the posting times, Chronicles took 58 minutes to read, watch, get an understanding of, download the videos and pictures, put them together into the posted pictures, write up and post. So, if anyone wonders why things might be a little slow sometimes, with the sheer number of kickstarters going up and the time it takes, I can’t get everything up. Some I discard out of hand as not really suitable (political games, sexualised games and drinking games for example) others because the ship only to one or two regions. But I do try and get… Read more »
I don’t _think_ anyone’s been getting at you for being slow @fishman – at least I hope not!
I think there have been a few comments from people drawing your attention to things, but I wouldn’t take that to mean people don’t think you’re ‘doing your job’.
I think it’s amazing that you are able to get such a lot up here for us (even though I’d like to see the political games too!).
Hmm… Just went to check out Chronicles… And it was cancelled 17 minutes ago. Looks like they plan to come back and have another go later.
It’s better to be slow and good.
Because as you say there are far too many kickstarters to watch as is already.
So it is nice to have a curated list of kickstarters that fit what Beasts of War.
And there’s no harm posting links to interesting kickstarters you might have missed or ignored in the comments, right ?
Lol, that’d be right…
When they come back I will make sure I get them up sooner 😉
I didn’t think anyone was having a go, and I certainly was not. I was just illustrating why some things didn’t get written up in a timely fashion. It actually bugs me that I don’t have them all up within minutes of launching.
As long as they are up before they’ve finished it’s all good 😀
Kickstarters that try to guild trip people into backing as soon as possible always feel kind of iffy to me.
Realise it’s not on kickstarter, but is this the place to mention the Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago. nickstarter? It is at http://nstarmagazine.com/FROSTGRAVE_GHOST_ARCHIPELAGO_NICKSTARTER.htm though you can also do it via Bad Squiddo Games (UK) and Brigade Games (USA)
Small “World of Twilight: Anyaral” KS due to go live this weekend…

Just a book with mini this time round, but anyone looking for a nice game with lots of existing factions might find it a nice entry point.
Germàn Impache has launched his Evo-t Sci-Fi Models on Kickstarter:

I really like his models from their first appearance on Facebook, I hope the 28mm version will come soon.

Remember to check back on previous weeks, Evo T is there last week.
