Thomarillion Bring Us The Head Of Their Dwarf Chieftain
August 31, 2017 by dracs
Thomarillion have released a new terrain piece to let us contemplate on the ruin of the mighty Dwarf civilisation, the Dwarven Chieftain statue.
I like how mournful his expression is, although I do wonder why the dwarf wanted to be sculpted looking glum for all eternity.
Including a piece like this on the tabletop sets the tone for the whole game setting and allows for cool narrative moments as you fight to reclaim / ruin this icon of dwarf history.
Will you include this in your terrain set?

I agree about the glumness and also the beard appears to be falling directly towards the table…. I don’t feel much planning or thought in this piece
When you pointed it out, I see it. More like a giant chopped off head that is more organic. Not a statue that have lost it’s head..
That is a damn fine head. Statuesque even. As to his glum expression , he was probably the Prince (I note a lack of a thicker beard that you’d expect in more experienced royalty) who was made the ambassador to the Elvish Kingdoms ……. that’d make me glum
I wonder if it’s meant to be a sculpted head that was built on the ground, but to make you think it had fallen from a bigger statue? Umm..
Thinking of getting this for use on a Fallout table, and cover in moss and stuff to make it look really old (in the absence of a Statue of Liberty head ruin..)
great for any table.
