Micro Art Studio Haul Around New Infinity City Terrain
August 30, 2017 by brennon
Micro Art Studio is adding to their collection of terrain for your games of Infinity. This time around the focus is on some more industrial equipment with their Cisterns & Tech Cisterns.
Everyone needs to remove waste, even in the far future, and this shows off some heavy duty terrain pieces that you might find in the industrial sectors of an Infinity city. They are matched by these Tech Cisterns below...
These kits are made out of a combination of their hardfoam designed pieces and also MDF components for the standard Cisterns, providing you with the frame that has been built up around the tank.
Carting About Cisterns
Of course, these need to be moved around on occasion and that's where the Manatee Haulers come in from Micro Art Studio. These vehicles can be loaded up with the various containers you see above if you want to create a different tabletop narrative.
Maybe you could have it that something inside these Cisterns is of importance to the opposing faction and so you're fighting on a highway trying to take control of them. You could pack the roads with cover made up of ruined and abandoned cars.
As with the above terrain pieces, these are made out of hardfoam with MDF components to act as additional accessories. They have a nice look to them I think, very much in keeping with the anime aesthetic of Infinity.
Throwing Out The Trash
You can also get some more mundane ways of throwing out the trash for your tabletops with the District 5 Dumpsters.
They might not look like much but they help to build up tight and dangerous alleyways and ways to hop up onto higher levels of buildings acting as an aid to verticality.
What do you make of their new terrain pieces?
"Maybe you could have it that something inside these Cisterns is of importance to the opposing faction and so you're fighting on a highway trying to take control of them..."
It seems to me the painting style more than anything makes this terrain Infinity. If the these pieces were painted in a different manner they would be fine for any modern/futuristic game.
great vehicle’s.
I have a selection from the kickstarter, both of terrain and vehicles, and they’re all lovely pieces of kit.
When I clear some of my current plans I’ll be increasing the amount of vehicles to add a bit of variety to the tabletop.
I too have the trucks and Pickle Vans and the Freebies from the KS and they are great. I also plan to add a few cars although, i have a set of 4 speeder bikes for variety and just remember, i still have the buses to assemble too 😉
HALLELUJAH! I have been waiting for these since Salute!
Interestingly, almost all of their Designed for Infinity range has been removed from the webstore. There’s virtually no buildings and no vehicles. How disappointing seeing as I was about to place an order
Scratch that. You can find things if you use search but not via the categories. Manatees is a dead link though
