Knight Models Preview New Joker For Batman 2nd Edition
August 28, 2017 by brennon
Joining Batman and cohorts with a new edition of the miniatures game of the same name coming in September 2017 we have this new look at The Joker and some of his cronies from Knight Models.
As you can see we're getting a new look Joker here in his trademark purple suit. He's very much in keeping with the look from the video games as well as having a smattering of the comic book-style to him as well.
I particularly like the look of his cronies though with their wild outfits and wacky masks. I think that fear of clowns just returned after seeing these fellows.
If you're interested in finding out more about 2nd Edition they have put together a talk on what to expect here...
It will be interesting to see how the new edition of this game does against the upcoming Batman Board Game.
Let us know your thoughts below...

That crew looks rather good.
That’s very Injustice looking Joker. I expect Superman punch trough him any minute.
It is actually the Arkham Asylum version of Joker, they showed off the new card design today with him on it. The old Arkham City sculpt is being moved to direct only so this is basically the replacement. His rules are a bit different but very similar.
New card design is here, it’s smaller (more standard size) and features a box section of basic traits to be used with quick start rules.

I love the old sculpt but this one has a great sense of menace about it. And I love the other three too. I’ll be grabbing this.
I’m liking the new look to the mini’s I hope the second edition rules are much better and I hope these new models make it easier to build gangs.
If these are plastic/resin/restic I am more than keen for these delightful sculpts. (My Metallic models seem to have a suicide pact lately and I am tired of fixing paint jobs)
I’ve only seen Knight do metal minis.
If your metal minis are chipping a lot, try a different primer or sealer.
I recommend Duplicolor Sandable Primer. My minis used to chip all the time before I started using it, and now chips are very uncommon.
These are them unpainted.

I’m really digging the bright costumes and design of his crew, very different but very fitting. Creative is the word I guess. Love the guy with the knife taped to the gun.
