Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition Incoming
August 21, 2017 by thisisazrael
Blood Bowl 2, the sequel to the video game adaptation of Games Workshop's classic tabletop game combining American football with the Warhammer fantasy world, will greatly expand in September with Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition!
Entering the fray, the sly Goblins and their entire arsenal of Secret Weapons, the Halflings and their Treemen always keen on throwing their teammates over the top for a desperate touchdown, or the Amazons and their fearless and versatile style of play.
The Legendary Edition also brings the Vampire teams and their chilling, blood-lusting Lords, the powerful, massive and yet occasionally unreliable Ogres in addition to the athletic Elven Union and the creepy Underworld Denizens.
To Nuffle’s delight, a brand new team has also formed after it was rumored that their Ice Queen became enamoured with a Blood Bowl player: the Kislev Circus, with their great acrobatics abilities and their ferocious Tame Bears!
Highly anticipated by the fans and the passionate community, the Legendary Edition will not just offer all the official races from the Blood Bowl board game, but also all the Star Players, a new Khemri stadium, even more wicked matches with the All-Star teams and the Mixed Teams.
New game modes as well as many new tools and options enriching an already deep multiplayer experience, and much more that we will be detailing in the coming weeks!
Blood Bowl 2 Legendary Edition will be available as a stand-alone game for newcomers, and as an affordable expansion for all Blood Bowl 2 players this September on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Pre-ordering the Legendary Edition or the Official Expansion on Steam will grant you a 10% discount and beta phase access. Pre-ordering the Legendary Edition will also instantly unlock Blood Bowl 2 base game + Team Pack races.
So, with the introduction of a Story Campaign, what race would you like to see take to Blood Bowl glory?

Will have to take a look at this, as to Race there is only one race to play in Bloodbowl – SKAVEN
Please play as the Vampire race since they are a new race and one of my favourites.
avoid players on the side line because if they get knocked off the pitch they get ko’ed. use the bear has a blocker or enforcer, same as trolls carn’t pick ball up for toffee.Like to see the nurgle team
The Kislev Circus is only semi-new to Blood Bowl. They will be using the rules for the Slaan team that were developed quite a while ago.
Slaan are NAF approved- meaning that they’re all but 100% official- the team uses the very old style of Slaan (frogmen from space). Jervis said that they’d make them official in the book once they made official minis for them (which never happened).
I’m guessing that GW didn’t want Blood Bowl to present the old Slaan fluff, and instead prefer the newer version (um.. fat frogmen from space who rule the lizardmen- ahem- Serephon).
Play Ogres. They are a really challenging team to master.
Is the logic in this game still broken?
I played many games of bloodbowl both on the board version and the IRC version.
The dice rolls in this game seem to be broken.
Oh this looks kinda fun. I might just need to invest. I’d probably go for vampires myself…just because I find there’s something really odd about vampires playing football.
Incredibly frustrating as the video game is, i will be getting the expansion for my PS4. Which reminds me, i must pick up a Human team ( plus Ogre or Mighty Zug ) for the table-top version.
I play a lot of the first version of this game as it has all of the races available – love my Wood Elf and Chaos teams. The new Legendary edition looks to finally fill in the missing teams so probably time to upgrade.
As to which race, Goblin is the most amusing to play!
I HAVE to get a gaming PC… my computer struggled with BB 1… yep it really is that bad.
