Gen Con 2017 Live Blog: Day Four!

We are here for the final day of Gen Con 2017. There's some awesome prizes still to be won and we've got some great interviews lined up too.

With that in mind we hope you have enjoyed the show with us over the last four days and are ready for more content to get you excited about the tabletop and our hobby.

We stopped in with the lovely folks from Flying Frog Productions to talk about what's new for the world of Shadows Of Brimstone and the amazing looking anniversary edition of Last Night On Earth.

Of course with such an epic model like Beli'al here to show off we couldn't not make him the prize you could win by commenting below!

We stopped in with the lovely folks from Wyrd Games to talk about all things Malifaux and The Other Side.

They are offering up an awesome Nightmare Set for you to win as a prize simply by commenting below but...

...the coolest thing for us was the look at Bayoux Bash!

We just talked with Wyrd as you'll have seen but we wanted to show off some of the models as well in a separate gallery too.

So, here's a look at some of the miniatures for Bayoux Bash and The Other Side which are coming along very nicely indeed. Are you in the mood for a kooky racing game?

Dawn stopped in with Anti-Matter Games to talk about them delving into the oceans with DeepWars.

This is a great game that we've had on our radar for a while so it's nice to see it here at the convention!

The booth for Weta Workshop and GKR: Heavy Hitters has been busy all of the convention and it seems like people really do like big stompy robots.

The game is quick and fun to play with some fantastic looking models and a nice aesthetic. It's worth taking a closer look at this one.

We stop in to take a look at this game which caught our eye, Fallen Lands. The Post-Apocalypse is an awesome place (or the worst...) at the best of times and so this game really needed closer inspection.

Dawn also stopped in with from Mantic and had to talk to them about what's new when it comes to their worlds.

Of course we had to really get stuck into The Walking Dead and Mantic are going to be giving away a Walking Dead: All Out War set for you to win by commenting below.

We stopped in with Bryan to talk about what's new for Dark Age & Wrath Of Kings over the next few months.

They have had a blast updating the game and the sculpts and are giving away an awesome Skarrd Starter Pack for you with the book, models and cards you need to play.

Ben & Gianna decided to sneak into the vendor hall just before close to try and get in a few rounds of Star Wars: Legion with Fantasy Flight Games.

We have had a lot of fun with this and while we had a bit of a technical snafu towards the end of the game as the hall came to a close we hope this gave you a taster of the mechanics in play here on this wonderful Endor board.

Some of the models for you to take a look at from the guys at Modiphius who are taking you on a voyage upon your own ship in Star Trek: Adventures.

Another of the smaller companies here at Gen Con was Miniature Building Authority. We stopped in to talk with them about what they have here at Gen Con and what you can expect from their company.

If you love your chibi minis and you're good with a paint brush, then you'll love the fact that Ninja Division was hosting a chibi painting contest! There were so many lovely entries being judged by some of the finest painters in the industry- with adorable chibi trophies too.

Justin stopped in with Alex from Steamforged Games to talk about their new board game for Resident Evil!

The game is looking great and as we showed in the gallery on Day One they have made this demo based on the demo from the video game - which is pretty awesome and meta!

We think this is going to be pretty big!

Dawn & Gianna get stuck into the world of DeepWars and start playing around with sharks underwater.

Hopefully this gives you a taste of the game that we've been looking at for quite a while!

Dawn stops in with the folks from Ares Games to talk to them about the upcoming dungeon crawler extraordinaire that is Sword & Sorcery which comes with a massive dragon and plenty of epic heroes.

As well as that they are talking through some more of their game library but we have a copy of Sword & Sorcery to give away in the comments!

It's time for us to stop in with Anvil Eight to talk to them about the world and game of Aetherium as well as what else is on their plate here at the event.

With plenty to get excited about they show off what you might want to keep an eye on in the near future.

We find out what's new from Battle Foam right now including some new bags, a Privateer Press themed way to carry your goodies and some additional accessories to help spice up your carrying capacity.

We finally found some time to catch up with Dallas as he sits down to give us his thoughts on Gen Con.

He has been busy showing off his painting techniques but we also hear that Privateer have been showing off the Grymkin and their new cut down skirmish game.

We have had a lot of fun here at Gen Con and can't wait to see what you guys make of the content over the next few days.
