Ninja Division & Soda Pop Miniatures Launch Chibi GUTS Range
August 10, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
Ninja Division - Soda Pop Miniatures may have just won my heart with a Chibi twist on history with, their new GUTS range. GUTS is a range of collectable Chibi tanks and soldiers!
These cute, resin and metal minis are perfect for collectors and gamers and feature a great variety.
There's and M4 Sherman, a Panzer IV, the US Army Squad, the US Army HQ, the Wehrmacht Army Squad, the Wehrmacht HQ, the American Infantry Platoon and the German Infantry Platoon.
No matter which way you choose, they're adorable and a clever way to lure me into historical. Everybody has to start somewhere.
No GUTS, no glory (sorry, I couldn't help myself).
Do you have the GUTS to embrace some chibi history?

I like my chibi games but these are horrible, just huge heads on normal scale bodies.
I actually really like them, but that’s mostly because they have a very Advance Wars vibe to me and I loved that game.
Those are very nice. Those look like they come straight from Metal Slug.
Advance wars! Yes that’s what they remind me of, man that was bugging me.
Honestly not sure what to make of these yet 🙂 But I’ve been into soda pop since before getting back in the hobby so I’ll probably snag a squad just to try.
Pass – they are woeful.
I’ll justify buying some with the excuse they are to trick my gf into playing bolt action with me…
Ok, I would play Bolt Action if these were the minis for it.
They really appeal to me, look forward to seeing more of these.
Maybe not quite chibi, but certainly cute and cartoony.
If they did the British and Soviets that would be great … although we might die of cuteness overload.
(if we survive the empty wallet syndrom that is ;-))
What? Why would you not start out with the Japanese chibi force?
Honestly, I think I’d like to see WWI German spiked helmets on these guys.
Do we know if they’re resin or plastic?
They said combo resin and metal- not sure which parts.
a nice cartoony approach to the figures.
I’m in. Buying for me and my 7 year old son wohooooooo
No MG teams? :/
Chibi bazooka just looks like a LAW. Probably needs to be longer and over the shoulder for contrast with stubby trooper.
Panzer IV looks too realistic, compared to Sherman. Needs more roundy “ballooning” & verticality.
