Thick as Thieves
The police are baffled. The windows and doors were locked, yet the priceless vase is gone! And in a neighbouring house, a masterpiece is missing, but it does not appear to be the same perpetrator of these crimes. The spree has been going on for days, with each heist more audacious than the previous one.
You sit back and sigh contentedly as your gaze falls upon the vase, sitting atop the pile of loot you have acquired. No time to get complacent though. You missed that masterpiece and your rival is gaining in reputation. You have to get more loot to stay ahead of him, but you still have an ace up your sleeve. So you gear up, don your balaclava and rubber soled shoes and play out your trump card! Literally, you play out the card with enough points to complete the heist and that gives you enough loot points to win! But wait, your opponent is at the same heist and has sounded the alarm, taking one of the scoring cards from you to their hidey hole. Damn, you escape empty handed and have to plan your next job all over.
