I really like the idea of exploring the wormhole and dealing with the Prime Directive. One of the aspects of this game that appeals to me is that it's really not all about fighting and there's a lot of investigation and diplomacy to work through.

Howdy! I really hope you guys can beat the “curse” and hang around for a while…… “Curse” you say?” Look at the damages: 1) FASA = Sure they had quite a bit of ST material. But they eventually went under. Strike One. 2) Last Unicorn = More ST material, broken down into three (they were already on the path to create #4, but it never saw print) = Star Trek RPG, ST:TNG RPG, and a few for ST:DS9 before they went under. 3) Decipher.
