Looking good. I said something on the live about board game pieces as city markers, but I don’t think I like that idea anymore. I think now it would look to jarringly out of scale. How about instead using fake gemstones? This looks like something a king would have commissioned anyway, so why not some decadence?

Moving along great mate. In our Australian heat these boards come alive. Leaning them against the warp on walls sometimes helps. Somewhere between an angle of 30 to 45 degrees and left over night. Wire cutting in the tight places. Use 3mm MDF straight on the bottom but cut to the desired angle. Make two of them and place them either side of the piece then drag your hot write cutter up the MDF slope.
