Justin sits down with Cad from 4Ground to discuss what we can see in the soon to be launched Kickstarter campaign for their new game The Legends Of Fabled Realms.

We discover the background of the Fabled Realms world and take a look at the factions available during the campaign, including those that can be unlocked via stretch goals.
We also get to show off two 4Ground buildings also available to backers.
As well as that we discuss Kickstarter exclusives and what you have to do to qualify as a high-level backer.

always great to have 4ground on they always are really passionate about what they’re doing. Can’t wait to see all manners of stretch goals on this one.
Guess this is why Circle of Blood is not getting as many backers, everyone is waiting for this to drop.
I think they need to make it absolutely crystal clear obvious on the kickstarter how high level backers work. Not being counted as a high tier backer if you don’t spend 200 quid during the kickstarter, could end up causing a big stink when the pledge manager comes out and people find out. Personally I think it’s a crap way of doing it. It encourages people to make the decision to spend more money than they can afford. Although. There is a lot of value in the various deals and discounts on this KS….
And as long as people bother to read the info on the campaign page it is very clear 🙂
As for encouraging people to spend more than they can afford, well no one is forcing anyone to pledge, if they lack the self discipline to pledge responsibly i suspect they have bigger problems than not getting the high level backer rewards, end of the day not every campaign is a monolith/mantic everything and the kitchen sink type affair…
I’ve been waiting for this one since it was first announced. From what I’ve seen of the pledge level previews on their facebook page it’s not going to be a hassle to be a high level backer :).

I quite like the 4Ground crew in all the interviews I’ve seen, the models, scenery and world. Jumping into this at some level will be an easy decision when it launches 🙂
This looks amazing, I’m so tempted by it. I wonder if there will be a Viking-ish faction in the future?
This game is incredible, unfortunately due to circumstances I cannot back it. I do wish them all the very best with it. Initial pictures of the miniatures did not sell me, what sold me was seeing it all in person (Salute)

High level here I come…….this game looks awesome and it is amazing how much depth they already have with an extremely rich background to every miniature and building and terrain. This is going to be awesome, I hope….
I really like the look of this one but with so many others at the same time I am on the fence. I like the idea that you can get all the terrain to go with it also. Leaning towards the plunge. I will be watching the rest of the videos.
I’m in for £40 for now. I’ll no doubt embiggen when it becomes clearer what’s what.

How I wish I could afford the 800 pledge. Would be a dream entry into this game, getting to learn it at BoW studio.
I must say I really really like how the pledges are being handled. The way you can mix and match and still get the high end stretch goals. But at the same time, rewarding those that opens up those stretch goals. It’s good thinking!
