War Wizards & Drunken City Watchmen Previewed For 4Ground’s Fabled Realms
June 27, 2017 by brennon
As soon as another preview came into us at BoW featuring the words Karagian War Wizard I just had to get it out there. So, here's an awesome preview of Halgar the Warsmith who will be appearing in The Legends Of Fabled Realms in the future.
As mentioned above Halgar is one of the Karagian (Dwarves) in 4Ground's Fantasy universe and he is looking rather awesome indeed. You might also know him as the owner of the Blacksmith's Building from their terrain range.
Of particular interest was the news that Halgar has access to a type of magic that won't be available for a little while known as Metal Magic. You can imagine how he is able to create sure wonderous metalworks!
Drunken Guardsmen
Traipsing around Mordanburg we also have some new additions to the State Guard with another concept art piece for the City Watch.
These fellows are somewhat different than the standard rank and file as they actually have a rule for being drunk! How exactly they will play out will be interesting to see on the tabletop but I'm sure it will be hilarious.
A Mighty Pledge
If you're interested in going more or less all in on this Kickstarter one of the pledge levels is for £200 and gets you quite a chunk of stuff.
With the addition of the terrain, rulebooks and starter sets for two players and of course the chance at add-on packages this looks like it could be a neat starting point for your adventures in Fabled Realms.
Watch out for more on this game over the coming weeks and watch out for the Kickstarter on Friday 30th June.
What do you make of the game so far?

I love the idea of drunken characters, with their own rules. Are there any rules for drunken players as well?
I will struggle to avoid the Mighty Pledge, and add-ons… mainly because I’ll be drunk.
I’m really liking the aesthetic they’re going for this. Very much my idea of fantasy where armour is actually functional.
Drunken watchmen? Mister Vimes will go spare.
Hint of plagiarism folks….. though it adds to the possibilities.
Is it me, or does someone else get a Discworld vibe with this watchmen?
Drunken guardsmen? I resemble this!
You and me both mate .
I want this so bad, more than I ave ever wanted anything else before …. (except you dearest)
Very nice
so very excited for this. all of it looks cash.
This looks so awesome, but I just don’t have the money at the moment, so sadly I will have to pass.
