Rage Craft’s New Lord Of Horror Strikes A Pose
June 13, 2017 by brennon
Rage Craft has now added a new miniature to their collection for those looking for a dark lord to stand before their armies and lead them into battle. See what you make of the Lord Of Horror...
This new model would be great at the head of a demonic army on the tabletop, or maybe as the boss at the end of a dungeon crawling adventure with your heroes. I particularly like the way the wings have been done as they have avoided making them look unnatural.
The Lord Of Horror actually gets three different head options for you to choose from too. This one here is roaring as he ushers his beasts forth.
I think of all of the heads though I actually quite like this one with the helmet. You could imagine this is the version of him when he is ready to take on an enemy single-handedly.
You could have some real fun trying to get a glow effect through that helmet too I reckon.
What do you make of the Lord Of Horror?

I don’t need him, but I have ordered him
a great alternative gargoyle?
I love this! This is what I live for!
V. cool.
Too bad about the foot-on-rock. Nice model otherwise.
I don’t understand people’s aversion to minis that are standing on not completely smooth terrain.
When minis are on rocks and such, I generally get rid of them, but I find it helps me make an interesting base for them.
This guy’s little bit of ruins look nice- I’d keep that and just match those when I’m sculpting the rest of his base.
So- why do other people have an issue with uneven terrain/foot on rock?
