Spot & Scout With New WWII Vehicles By Perry Miniatures
June 12, 2017 by brennon
Join Perry Miniatures as they get settled in for some more World War II era wargaming as they show off two new vehicles to throw into the mix. First off we have the SdKfz 254 Artillery Observation Vehicle.
This particular vehicle was put together by John Hart and would be a great addition to your fighting on the front line as the observer hurriedly tries to send back coordinates to the big guns. You might have to take this fellow out with some concerted effort to make sure he doesn't spoil your advancing battle line.
World War II In Indian
The second vehicle caught my eye because it's atypical, an awesome vehicle that was drafted into the British/Indian army during World War II.
I would love to tell you more of the background behind this Indian Pattern Carrier but as you might imagine it helps deliver troops to where the action is and then supports them with the mounted gun on the front. It looks like it could stand up to some small arms fire too.
Will you be snapping either of these vehicles up?

What scale are those?
I think they’re 28mm.

In Bolt Action terms if stats aren’t already there, I’d give it the MMG carrier stats, or maybe add a few points to a Humber scout car.
It’s great that manufacturers are acknowledging the contribution that Indian troops made to the Allied war effort,
Wonder if they are re-mastered versions on the Old Chieftain models by Ian Crouch, or Crouchie to his old Mongrel mates, I have 2 of the all metal ones from the day . If so can vouch for detail,
I’ve been considering a 4th Indian Division force for Chain of Command, I think this is one push further towards it
