The British Militia Arm Themselves From Footsore Miniatures
June 9, 2017 by brennon
Footsore Miniatures has added a band of British Militia to the tabletop for use in your Inter-War period games. See what you think of these fellows...
Here's a little blurb on these fellows and what role they might be able to fill on the tabletop.
"The bulk of forces fighting in the VBCW were made up from the normal middle and working class of British society. They would be formed into local militias in an attempt to defend their own area or join larger forces in an attempt to recapture other towns and cities."
Do you think you'll be exploring this era of History more on the tabletop?

These are brilliant. A bunch of these coupled with Warlords own LDV and the Operation Sea Lions Churchill would be a very characterful force on the tabletop ( just add a Churchill Tank or two for some armoured support ). As if it’s needed, it’s a great excuse to get the Dad’s Army mini’s on the table as well.
Exactly what I did, except I’m thinking of using a Mk V Male stead of the Churchill. It was “rescued” from a museum to help the cause 🙂
I only discovered Footsore this year for their Dark Ages stuff and now I’m ordering something every month.
Amazing figures in great poses and as @kantor72 all you need to Jerry as he invades Britain but also very one for Very British Civil War too
