Save Gotham With Monolith’s Batman Board Game At UK Games Expo
May 29, 2017 by brennon
In more UK Games Expo news, Monolith is going to be at the event looking to save Gotham from Bane as they show off Batman: The Board Game including loads of its miniatures!
You will be able to jump in on games playing as Batman, Red Hood and Catwoman in an effort to stop Bane from collapsing an important building in the city of Gotham. While still in the prototype stages it looks like they've got some special things to show off at the event.
We've been loving the look of the models we've seen so far and so it will be good to finally see them in the flesh as it were. I'm particularly wanting to find out about the thugs and goons you're going up against!
You can see a few of them here, armed and ready to take on Batman. Maybe we'll even get a chance to sit down and play the game for ourselves at the event if we find time.
Will you be visiting Monolith?

Yes. Yes I will.
of course!!! =)
It’ll be interesting to see how they make this game interesting.
I suppose it’ll be some form of dungeon crawler with a Bat-theme ?
For the moment, it’s more of an action, strategic, combat game
Apparently it’s based on their Conan game.
It probably won’t have a campaign mode, just one off scenarios. I’m totally fine with that, I love playing Conan.
a series of linked scenarios would be kind of cool.
The TMNT game does that in a kind of comic book format.
A win in one scenario gives a small benefit or a different map in the next in the sequence.
It’s not fancy, but it is fun.
Given that Batman isn’t exactly the kind of hero that gets better (which kind of annoyed me a bit in the Arkham computer games) that could be something they could implement.
I am sure there will be a campaign or two. Conan now has one
a fabulous looking action batman.
As both a fan of Monolith’s Conan and Knight Models Batman Miniature Game I’m very excited for this. But then my excitement is tempered by the expectation that it will be at least another year 1/2- two years before we see this on store shelves
Im liking the sculpts I am seeing so far. This will be very promising
