Superman is part of the new releases for May by Knight Models for their DC Universe Game. However, he isn't alone as he is now facing off against some of his more fearsome foes and his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

Superman

This version of Superman will come with three chest options allowing you to focus in on him being the typical Superman plus his Kingdom Come version and Red Son design.

LexCorp

Facing off against Superman requires some brains and that's where the nefarious Lex Luthor comes in here flanked by his power armoured LexCorp allies.

Lexcorp Industries

It's neat that they haven't powered up Lex within his armour yet and he's still the fellow working behind the scenes to bring Superman down. If you need some more firepower to smash the Son Of Krypton then they also have the Heavy Trooper.

Lexcorp Heavy Trooper

Kryptonite powered armour and weapons are certainly going to make Superman hurt. I really like these models and while the painting might be a little heavy on the highlighting I think they're going to pop on the tabletop.

Alien Threats

The threats to Superman and The Earth are also coming from outer space with General Zod & Guild Warriors looking to face off against him.

General Zod & Guild Warriors

Based on their look from the Superman film these warriors might not have made for the greatest bad guys or the best film, but they might allow you to tell a better story on the tabletop. They also come with some alternative armoured heads.

Last but not least we have the hulking form of Doomsday who I reckon is the best character from this raft of releases.

Doomsday

Covered in spikes, his jaw flanked by dangerous tusks, and his fists ready to pummel Superman into dust, he looks like he would make for an excellent painting project. I'd love to see the tabletop for this clash which started out pristine but then ended up covered in rubble and broken cars.

What do you make of these new releases?
