New Tortured Trolls & Winged Allies Soon For The Hobbit By Forge World

Forge World are going to be releasing some new creations for the world of The Hobbit at Warhammer Fest this month. For the forces of Evil, we have this new Troll Brute which has been tortured and driven into a frenzy.
There are two flavours of Troll Brute that you'll be able to pick up. One of them will be 'piloted' by a Gundabad Orc as you can see above and the other will feature a rather crazy Dwarf.
The idea of these Trolls is so weird and creepy, even now, but they could make for some awesome miniatures to throw into the mix as you're building upon your collection to fight out the full Battle Of The Five Armies.
Winged Allies
The forces of Good also get themselves some support with a new miniature/diorama for Gwaihir.
Shown here bringing down a Warg it would be perfect for trying to recreate that scene from the end of the first film as Thorin Oakenshield and his companions are trapped at the edge of a burning forest.
It would be awesome to see more miniatures coming out to support The Hobbit and I guess if folks keep buying them they'll keep making them!

Those trolls look really creepy. Oh and that eagle also looks great.
The Troll is not my cup of tea. Looks really weird and it does not fit into tolkien’s world imo.
The diorama instead is really awesome.
The Troll is repelling. The flyer is is nice though way to narrative. Its not a Mini its a diorama. Looks pretty good though.
The troll looks a bit like an Adipose from Dr Who :D.
Troll is OTT. Eagle is undersized…. but nice
Sclupts are spot on for the film, in general the quality of the middle earth stuff is fantastic.
the eagle v wolf looks fantastic not keen on the troll.
The Gwaihir models is good, but I really don’t need a third version of a character model. The troll is frankly disgusting.
