Get Shot & Buried In Empires At War’s New Wild West Terrain
May 10, 2017 by brennon
Two new prepainted kits have been added to the collection from Empires At War for your Wild West gaming which is becoming particularly popular right now. Both a Gunsmiths and an Undertakers are up for grabs.
As mentioned above these are prepainted terrain sets so you don't have to do anything other than assemble them and get them ready for the tabletop. It seems quite fitting that the Gunsmiths...
...and the Undertakers are so close to each other on the tabletop since you'll most likely need to get measured up before your duel at high noon.
These aren't the only terrain pieces that Empires At War do however as they have collections spanning Modern, Sci-Fi, Roman, Spanish, World War II and even Middle-Eastern styles.
Fancy A Hotel Break?
I was particularly taken by The Grand Hotel though for their Wild West range.
You could have a real good gunfight inside that I reckon as you rob the place and try and escape with your gang.
What do you think of their Wild West terrain?

It’s a good time to be into the Old West genre!
nice.
One thing it seems is most folks think of all buildings having the false front and fairly large. Fact is most building were small long and narrow. What we call today as a shotgun house and without the false front. Also just as common is the southwest Adobe brick homes. This is were manufacturers miss the mark.
Yes your’e right about that. I was shocked the first time i saw a street plan of Tombstone in the early 1880s at how long the buildings were. Having said that gamers clearly prefer the Hollywood look and i’m not sure how well the narrow buildings would sell. As far as the false front is concerned i fully intend doing some without these.
I might do some Adobe ones in Resin at some point.
Anyone know what dimensions these kits are?
I usually put them on our Blog posts for new releases but here they are for the 3 in this article-
Dimensions
Gunsmiths 25cm x 18cms x 13cm
Undertakers 20cm x 17cm x 13cm
Grand Hotel18cm x 30cms x 21cms
Cheers

The missus will want these.
