FFG’s Star Wars World Championships Hits This Week!
May 2, 2017 by redben
This week, Fantasy Flight Games are hosting the Star Wars World Championships at their gaming centre in Roseville, MN. FFG have no fewer than five different Star Wars games supported by their organised play programme, and each will crown a new world champion over the course of the event.
The championships run from Wednesday May 3rd through to Sunday May 7th, and here at Beasts of War we’ll be carrying FFG’s live stream of the event, allowing you to watch some of the best players in the world compete for the biggest prize in the game.
The stream starts on Thursday, and kicking off the action are Star Wars: The Card Game, followed by Star Wars: Armada. Friday gives us a day of Star Wars: Imperial Assault, Saturday is Star Wars: Destiny, and closing the show on the Sunday is X-Wing.
Look out for an article on each of those mornings with information on the games being played that day, the prizes up for grabs, and when you can watch. Then, join us later in the day to watch the games and see the new world champions crowned!
Will you be watching?
