We stop in with Dave and the team from Hawk Wargames to find out how things are going with them when it comes to Salute 2017 and what they have new and raring to go for the tabletop.
Of course, they were generous enough to offer up some goodies too allowing you to get started in the game.
So wish I was there. Need to play more Dropzone.

This reminds me that I have to finish my UCM and PHR Fleets
Drop zone has been a game I’ve wanted to get into for ages. Looks fantastic, dropfleet is also very cool and the mini’s are amazing, new stuff and evolution of the system is always a good thing to keep the games moving forward
A Whole Starter set in the bundle! now thats what i call commitment!! oh and also…WANT!!!

The nigth map was stunning.
ships look great, board also, but cardboard token look very poor. I now that figures is main part and most important in the game, but they can use mor thick cardboard or some plastick tokens because it decrease impression of the game. Even with that little inconvenience the game is great and is worthy successor of Battle Fleet Gothic
The acrylic token sets are just about ready. Us kickstarter backers who had them in our pledge should be getting them in the next few weeks according to Dave
Always like Dave and Hawk, thought there may have been more new stuff TBH. Salute has traditionaly been the big launch show for Dave it’s just down the road and where we all saw him first. Nice!
I’ve played Dropzone but not Dropfleet.
well so i haven’t missed out on the cool looking light cruiser, thank hawk for that! really cool looking work on the battle cruisers as well!
So are the nighttime mats available? If not, why not they look great.

Not a game that really appeals to me but it all looks great – I can see the appeal and know friends that will be investing heavily in Dropfleet 🙂

Its amazing sometimes how much an enthusiastic creator can effect me. I’ve bought into dropfleet and mantic’s deadzone because I love how much Dave and Ronnie love their games.
I have to say, I think that enthusiasm is reflected in the quality of the products as well.
I love Dropfleet! Really need to continue work on all four fleets for the club!
liked the night map being used for dropfleet, also really liked that their 1st priority were the people who’d already ponied up their money.

Who needs kickstarter special edition Battlecruisers when you see the likes of the Akuma! It’s a beaut! Can wait to see a built up UCM Battlecruiser!
Did not go for the Dropfleet Kickstarter so such a kit would be exciting to test!
Dave would have to be one of the nicest guys in gaming.
@dignity you said a price bundle to last a year, I am starting to feel it will be for several if this keeps going.
