Demo Tables Setting Up

One of the things that we always love seeing at Salute are the awesome gaming tables that folks set up. This is one of them, the Old Guard, which has been set up since yesterday and is looking rather spiffing.

Hopefully, later in the day we'll chat about their table and what's going on with all these hexes!

Often been tempted by that hex terrain. I play no games that are hex based but something about it just appeals…

Those minis look fantastic. Napoleonics in massed rank and file are always an eye catcher.

That looks like a fun game. Wonder what company makes the minis, can’t quite make them out .

Is this game running the command and colours rules?

What size are the minis? If that is 28mm that is EPIC!!

I look forward to hearing more about it. Hexes do work well for that cross over between Mini games and board games that allow our hobby to speed up somewhat.

Was it Heroscape; that also had the small hex terrain bases that clipped together to make different boards? this reminds me of a large scale version of that

Yeah, Battlemasters!
Hexes are kinda cool, a good way to abstract movement and facing/vision arcs
