Total War: Warhammer – The Battle Of Lyonesse
April 19, 2017 by crew
We're rejoining Sam (MrStainless001) as he gets stuck back into the world of Total War: Warhammer and follows up with the Battle of Lyonesse!
It seems like a pesky Chaos Sorcerer meddled in the plans of the Bretonnians but Sam gives us a rundown of just how a few of the past turns have played out.
Then, we dive into another battle as the Bretonnians clash against the Vampire Counts and their undead legions that have been spreading chaos throughout the land.
Make sure to check out more of Sam’s work on his Youtube Channel.
Will he manage to tackle the undead?
Really enjoy these. I’m not a computer gamer any more so I’m having to get my fix by proxy, which you are providing very well. Thanks.
THanks man, more than happy to be your proxy 🙂
Looks really good. Sadly the just too expensive for me now to keep my PC up to date to play these types of games
I hear you 🙁 It feels like gaming gets more and more expensive every year
Yeah, big tip for fighting the undead is to make sure to hunt down their Vampires/Necromancers/Strigoi Ghouls etc and take them out as soon as possible. I also found using your ranged units to your advantage is good too. Keep pulling back your front line of troops and keep the undead struggling forward and then pepper them with archers and siege weapons to help break down the units. You just have to be aware of Vargheists later on and the bat swarms as if they get into your ranks they are terrifyingly strong. Thankfully the Bretonnian heroes are also incredibly… Read more »
Sure its not a cockroach 😉 ? Lovely battle. Yearh it can be a bit overwhelming fighting against undead, when they use a couple of 1000 zombies or so. It can be hard for the low moral peasants to fight against the undead, if you don’t have a lord or hero nearby. But a good charge from some knights in the rear make them fly by, as we saw in the video 😉 A good strategy with you infantry formation on the ground and the cavalry on the hill. And then having you artillery softening up the undead before they… Read more »
Great battle.
Like others already mentioned, go for the leaders. if you take them out it want take long before the undead army starts to crumble. You can use pegasus knight to go for the necromancers that hide behind the army and use the knights for the rear charge to give blow to their morale..
Be aware of the more stronger units, like wraiths, grave guard and crypt horrors and later on the flying units. They will bypass your army and go straight for your artillery and archers.
Yeah, that’s Tzeentch for ya. Did you at least get to sprout an extra arm, for your offering?
I am so enjoying these videos. Always looking forward to the next chapter of this campaign.
nice recovery.
