Eureka Miniatures Hare Around In Their Dirty Thirties Cars
April 18, 2017 by brennon
If you're looking for some impressive models to start you thinking about a different type of Pulp adventure then how about these Dirty Thirties Cars from Eureka Miniatures which popped up on Facebook recently?
A number of different car designs were shown off by the folks over there showing some great looking racing cars from the period done up with weapons like the Vickers machine gun.
This one even has a fellow on the back with a machine gun from a plane strapped to it ready to repel whatever terrible foe is zooming towards them from above.
I think of all of the cars though this one was the most interesting...
It doesn't look like it would be able to function but I think it would be awesome to see this barreling around, blasting apart folks on the road. All of these deserve a rather crazy paint job I reckon but you can see one of them below by the crew at Eureka...
This fellow is apparently Maximillion and let's hope he's on your side as it looks like he's got a rather deadly machine there. These old race cars had a futuristic quality to them back then, almost looking like something from the space age rather than the period.
What do you think of these cars?

I like those 🙂
I love pulp, 20s / 30s gangsters etc.
they need a wee pink car and a hot-rod with a house and a dragon hanging out of it?
love the reference. I was thinking more toad of toad hall myself, toot toot.
I saw the prototypes close up at last years Salute. They will be perfect for Pulp Alley.
It really has that wacky races vibe about them.
This could be nice additions to any game or just the scenery I can even use them as terrain in a pulp a era game.
Some WW1 German fighter plane patterns, ‘flying circus’ style, would do nicely on these.
