Face Off Against Doctor Who’s Creepy Clockwork Droids
April 4, 2017 by brennon
If you're looking for some creepy looking creations by Warlord Games to use in the world of Doctor Who then check out these villains, the Clockwork Droids, who are no doubt going to cause all manner of problems for the Doctor and his companions.
As you can see they have two male Droids and one female Droid for you to use. They are still more (in my mind at least) pieces for collectors than gaming options, but then again there are a lot of Whovians out there who might want to snap these up.
Will you be checking out the rest of the range as it grows?

These are not the droids I was looking for, but always bring a banana to a party … 😉
Kind of weird to see these.
Sure, kidnap/harvest people for parts, but they didn’t actually do anything in that episode.
It makes me wonder what the heck the game itself is like.
I’m a huge Who fan, but some of the choices for monsters seem downright odd. These and the Tetraps are strange choices. What’s next? The monoids? We seem to be lacking companions, still hoping to see the Brig some day soon.
I’m also a huge Who fan. I will be getting these at some point.
I think that a lot of what is getting released is dictated by what has been approved. They need approvals from BBC, the actors and/or creators of the creatures. So while this may be an odd choice it might be what has been returned as approved. I would love for warlord to hurry up and release a bunch more things and I’m sure they would like to do just that. I’d like to see at least one release a month.
Its a clockwork dance off…!!!!
Interesting. An iconic choice for a mini, but an odd choice for a war game.
I know its a crazy thing in my head… normally a wargame comes out and then extra figures are released same day and weeks/months later..
BBC and of course warlord seem to be making odd figures first for collectors and them bringing out a wargame, which is in April, salute i hope.. which is a cyberman and dalek figures, but to my limited knowledge will have card decks of other forces for you to use, jusr have to wait for the figures. Shame the BBC scared off all the “non” doctor who figures….
Those do look really good. That said as villains those clockwork droids are unmemorable.
What scale are these in?
is this a wind up? no they are the wind up.
