The Army Painter Method – A Finished Waiqar Force

We take a look at another of the finished armies using the Army Painter method. This time it's the Waiqar, the undead from RuneWars.

As you can see this is another simple scheme which provides you with a wonderful looking army in a matter of days (maybe even hours).

Basing is a big part of this and we have plenty of great tips on basing coming up soon.

To me, basing is the key to taking a basic paint job and really turning it up a notch. So many skimp on basing. That is a big mistake.

I still can’t get over how amazing these armies are looking and that all this outstanding work was done in less than a weekend. I’m really going to have to try challenging myself to complete a similar project in a weekend.

Basing is important as using colour notes when painting, infact more so.As they can enhance the overall look and theme.

Loving the look of these Undead, certainly my faction going forward.
Good basing makes a good painted model into a great one and a great painted model into a fantastic one

They look fantastic. The carrion cavalry is very cool. The basing makes the models pop.

These do look nice and I should look into the Army Painter method more especial when I start a new army. As a Kings of War player I have mostly being looking at the Runewars models and thinking if they would fit into any Kings of Armies. If people around me start playing Runewars you never I could end up playing two ranks and flanks fantasy games.

The worms are all different. Were they modded, do they come in variable or random poses?
